Re: Well done Moyes and the team
I don't think Moyes has performed a 'miracle' and nor should he be cunted off. Rarely is life so black and white. He's done the job he was employed for, to keep us up.

He deserves to take credit for this, he's made us bad most weeks rather than every week. That is an improvement. Plus he has totally transformed Marko Arnautovic, the one player that has done most to keep us up. He has also made us more solid, not much, but more than we were and that was needed. I don't think for a second Bilic would have kept us up, he'd clearly lost the plot and we thank him for the fantastic first season.

I don't see why we need to judge Moyes otherwise, he might stay, he might now, it's not our decision. To be honest who the fuck would want to work for the three cunts in the boardroom?

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
A horrible season from start to near-finish. Our second year at the athletics London Stadium, gates of 56,000, treated to 0-3 and 1-4 defeats. I’m relieved, surprised and very happy to be safe from relegation. But we’ve been humiliated by newly promoted sides who took us apart, incompetent signings and non-signings, a caretaker manager who pulled us back from the sewer of relegation, but who’s future is doubtful given his track record.

Luckily Mark Noble scored an almost iconic goal of brilliance. It almost made every black cloud hanging over our great club disappear.

I think rather than "well done" it should read "about bloody time". We should be grateful it was a disinterested shambolic end of season Leicester we met up there and be glad for the other results going for us. Bar Arnie and maybe one or two others on Hammers player deserves a pat on the back this season.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
It’s great that we’re staying up but let’s not go over the top. This season has been horrific and it’s only the luck we had in Arnautovic being different class up front which has kept us up. Moyes does deserve some credit for that but certainly not enough to outweigh all of the shit.

We’ve been battered embarrassingly so many times this season and it’s not good enough. The football has been poor, most of the squad have underperformed and changes must be made.

We played really well yesterday but Leicester were truly awful.

Kirok1. We are mathematically safe.
And as for Moyes, Thanks but now you can move on

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
Unlikely as it is to happen, why are we celebrating? Yes, we are all but safe but not yet mathematically.

They’ve done fuck all for most of the year, hence our position. So why the fuck should we say well done?

MINOR MIRACLE

This is one of my absolute faves.

Fuck me there are some board lackies on here.
No doubt they'll be queing up to buy the *Survival 2017/18 DVD*

Wow, we won a game and have just about stayed up. Means fuck all in the context of the last 2 seasons and the reasons they gave for moving.
Moyes has made BFS & Hodgson look like geniuses.

'Who can yesterdays performance be credited to?'

The same man with the worst ever win ratio for a West Ham manager.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
It’s funny how down in the dumps some people have sounded since it became obvious that we were staying up.

Probably not coincidently, these are the same people who said we were going to be relegated when Moyes was appointed.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
We beat an injury ravaged, already on the beach Leicester team, a team even Palace smashed last week, to avoid relegation with two games to spare.

The champagne is on ice. I’ll open it when Moyes has fucked off.

He'll stay unfortunately, as he's Sullivan's ideal manager.

As for you Mex Martillo, you can fuck off.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
Don't think anybody is lavishing praise on anybody - I think it's just giving credit where I personally feel it was due in the face of working under a shocking board

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
What makes me laugh is that you are expecting lavish praise for a manager who has the worst win ratio of any West Ham manager ever.

brick_lane_batty_boy 10:52 Sun May 6
Re: Well done Moyes and the team
What makes me laugh is that when the team do play well and show some attacking promise - It's never anything to do with Moyes or his tactics - when it's been bad, the blame is laid solely at his feet. The views on him are so blinkered and unbalanced.

But whatever, we're safe now so I am happy. If he stays he stays, if he doesn't thank you for doing the job you were employed to do in what can only be described as diabolical circumstances. To have kept the team up on the back of a terrible start to the season and one of the most shocking transfer windows in recent history (lets remember - SOLD ; Sakho, Ayew & Fonte - BOUGHT Hugill Evra and Mario) you've done a decent job.

Probably best for all concerned if he slips off into the summer with a bit of credibility for himself - We get in someone knew that the crowd will get behind and we go again. Board are going nowhere so we just need to get on with it. Or at least step up the efforts to let them know how much people want rid.

I had a thought after the watching the Madrid Arsenal game - How good would it be to have Simeone in there - he would lift the roof off the place. Now OBVIOUSLY WE WOULD NEVER GET SIMEONE - who do we know with his passion though for West Ham? Mad as a box for frogs? Takes no shit? Paolo ! In my eyes, it can't get any worse over there - I would love to see him now for a couple of years. He would totally change that stadium from the dour piss hole it is to a passionate cauldron. I know he's got no real credentials but I would absolutely love it.

A minor miracle?

You can argue all you like about whether you think he has done what was asked of him, but how the fuck is losing by 3 clear goals in 5 of the last 9 games the stuff of miracle working?

Some of you are easily pleased.

Well done Moyes?

Fuck me you have far too low expectations. He is crap, and have shown just that in 90% of his games in charge.

He deserved a kick in his bollocks on his way out of the door.

Re: Well done Moyes and the team
I think Moyes has performed a minor miracle in keeping us up, everything considered

We were looking like relegation certainties when he took over from the hapless Bilic. A dispirited, disjointed team full of very average players, a board who cheated & lied & refused to buy a decent central midfielder when blatantly necessary, plus having to cope with the unsurprisingly toxic home atmosphere

He won't have done his stock any harm in keeping us up & hopefully he can go & find himself another job somewhere at the end of the season where his negative tactics are appreciated

We need Sullivan to butt out when it comes to transfers, employ a strong manager who knows which players he wants & can attract them to the club, & someone who can diplomatically get the transfers over the line. All Sullivan needs to do is shut up & get the cheque book out, without all & sundry being leaked news of who we are after

There are a lot of players who need to be shipped out in the summer
